Sales Application Engineer Regional Manager (East Coast)
to join their team ASAP!
The Company Regional Sales/Applications Engineering Manager works with and supports the company's sales reps and distributors. The primary function of the Regional Manager is to manage and oversee the technical sales, branding, marketing initiatives and product performance of our Company's products and material delivery systems, which marketed to residential and commercial project developers, designers, specifiers, engineers, contractors, Architects and General Contractors. Industry segments targeted include existing warehouses, office buildings, schools, assembly buildings, roofing contractors, military, hospitals, airports: any design build and civil construction where high performance sustainable energy efficient materials are applied.
The person manages the North America sales team and is considered a key interface of application engineered solutions for the company's technology that must effectively execute the corporate sales strategy and objectives. The Regional Manager reports to the National Sales Manager and oversees a team of Regional Sales Distributors and representatives. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to build strong relationships with key market decision makers and influencers.
The Regional Manager must be highly competent in areas of critical thinking, strategic direction, technical expertise and product knowledge. They are highly analytical and can identify solid growth opportunities. The person must have an understanding of the construction process and knowledge of job specifications and ASTM specifications as they relate to the construction divisions. This person has the ability to work independently to lead the forecasting efforts for the division and subsequently exceed annual performance goals.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding and experience of building envelope and HVAC system impacts on comfort of a structure, energy modeling software such as Energy Plus, Utility and other industry energy incentives, brand management and contribute to brand building initiatives such as advertising, public relations and promotional campaigns. This person must be able to develop and conduct presentations to the design community, industry associations, and all project personnel. The Regional Manager is responsible for training the sales force in the specified region.

A professional at this position level has the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
:
o Understand product needs for customer and work with the corporation's Technical Center for R&D and product formulations
o Work with the customer service manager to create product forecasts, both weekly and annual, and delivery schedules
o Attend local and national construction trade shows and association meetings as needed
o Interface all technical application requirements between sales representative and end customer (Mechanical Engineering Professionals (MEP), Architects, Building Owners, etc)
o Maintain close interaction with the factory, personnel and attend operations meetings as necessary
Additional Info
The East Regional Manager must live in or be willing to relocate to Central NC and will be based out of our Asheboro NC headquarters.
The position requires up to 40% travel.

MUST HAVES:
5-7 years technical sales/marketing/management experience in construction materials
Experience w EnergyPlus, eQuest, or other building energy modeling software
Ability to recommend and perform accurate takeoffs from blueprints
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University

PREFERRED:
Excellent leadership and management skills
Strong, proven verbal and written communication skills
Quantitative analytical skills
Track record of training and developing a successful team
Ability to travel within the territory on a regular basis
LEED Accreditation preferred

Full time position
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000
Bonus: up to $50,000
