Robotics Engineer

We are looking to fill a full time Robotics Engineer position with a manufacturer located in the area of Asheville, NC.
Salary range is around $90k per year plus relocation assistance.

Job Description:
2-5 years workable knowledge of Fanuc, Panasonic, Motoman, ABB, Nachi Robots would be a plus.
Must understand CMM layouts and gages to customer specifications.
Understand communication between PLC and robot integration.
Ability to troubleshoot simple wiring issues on tools.
Hands on experience in manufacturing environment working with plant machinery, CAD/CAM experience preferred.
Must have ability to program, startup, troubleshooting, and repair robots, with an emphasis on programming.
Knowledge and experience with robotics in automotive applications including robot interface, programming, or peripheral equipment integration/ operation.
Troubleshooting & problem solving skills for new and existing equipment.
Robot and PLC interface code development and debug experience.
Experience with Automation Network Interfaces for data and control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up PLC and robot communications on new and old equipment.
Communicate between Tooling Tech and PLC Programmers.
Set up new and refurbished cells .
Responsibilities for troubleshooting plant equipment.
Programs robotic automation equipment such robotic welders, etc. equipment.
Robotic programming, troubleshooting, repair, and PLC programming.
Provide technical assistance to production supervisors, industrial engineers, and project managers.
Document and organize all technical details.
Optimize equipment and minimize downtime.
Work on several projects in various stages of completion.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
