Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer for Asheboro, NC The key is background in robot install, setup and some programming. They have 6 robots that were from Chrysler and were welders but they are being converted to pick and place robots for loading and unloading of machining and grinding centers.
The target range is $80 to $90k and a lump sum relo package. There may be a slight push on the salary but not much. They really want a BSME but will look at BSMET (I think a BSEE with strong mechanical exp would be evaluated as well) They will move very fast as project is behind schedule.
