Mechanical Engineer- ROBOTS

This manufacturing facility is introducing Robots into their operation. As such they need a Mechanical Engineer to lead the installation, set-up and ongoing support for the initial six robots. They will be used in a variety of applications so knowledge of capabilities, limitations, and programming is required.
This role will coordinate with development and launch engineering to insure DFM is maintained. Coordination with other engineers for proper code generation or programming will be required if necessary.
The company is located just between several major metropolitan areas and close to Asheboro, NC.
Qualified applicants will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of direct and applicable experience with robots. Candidates with BSEE credentials and the appropriate mechanical experience may be considered.
